The Episcopal Commission, constituted by the three Bishops elected by the Board of Trustees, is the Administrative Board of the Seminary. It ensures the general welfare and efficient running of the Seminary. In case of emergency, however, the Metropolitan may act on behalf of the Administrative Board. This notwithstanding, the Rector is the head of the Seminary. He acts in the person of the Seminary, unless for matters the competent authority has prescribed otherwise (Can. 238¶2). He is responsible for the running of the Seminary in accordance with the norms of the Seminary’s Charter and the rules and regulations of the Seminary. The Rector works in close collaboration with the Priest-Formators who participate in the Rector’s responsibility.
