Tansi Seminary also owns a poultry farm. It is actually one of the sources of Seminray’s income. It was created to assist the seminary in paying its bills as well as to provide refreshment for the seminarians every Sunday.
The Poultry is as old as the Seminary itself which was about 2005. The poultry house has a capacity of 900 layers for the production of eggs and 400 broilers. Although broiler breeding is seasonal,
We have two female staff members taking care of the poultry, and two seminarians are also helping them. The poultry is not yet a standard poultry, according to the mind of the seminary. Thanks to the seminary authorities who are working so hard to make it a better one. It hasn’t acquired the necessary poultry material, although we are making use of the equipment available.
