“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations” (Jeremiah 1:5). This prophecy echoes more audibly as we celebrate the 10th priestly anniversary of our formator Rev. Fr. Francis Okeke; who was ordained a priest by His Grace Most Rev. V. M. Okeke on 7th of July, 2012 at the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity Onitsha.
We earnestly thank all those who assisted him to answer and sustain this divine call: his parents, siblings, friends, benefactors, and benefactress, and indeed all men and women of goodwill… May God reward you abundantly. Amen.
Flooded with anticipation met and love sustained, our hearts feel like December. We, therefore, raise our glasses with him in thanksgiving to God for the grace of 10 years of stewardship in the Lord’s vineyard. Hence, we sing with the Psalmist, “Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name be the glory!”
